Let God Work On You! (Correction part 1)

2Ti 3:16  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Ti 3:17  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

God likes to work on us. He loves us and wants us to be used more effectively by Him.  He gave us His word to help us on this journey through life.  These verses point out to us that we are going to be corrected and worked on by God.  He did not give us His word just so we could read it and not do anything about it. Sometimes God works on us slowly, and other times we either need to learn it quick or we may have to go through “it” all over again. Whatever that “it” is, you can fill in the blank.
A lot of the time for me, it is embarrassment. I get embarrassed really easily. I am what people would call a “loud” person. I have a “strong” personality.  And usually when I do not take the correction and change my behavior, I will get to go through that embarrassment all over again. Most of the time what I say and do, do not come across the way I intend it to. At those times, I should have just stayed silent.
I will also feel guilty for weeks after too…
