God's Working On ME!

Have you ever felt like God is working on you?  Have you felt His hand on your life like never before? 

I feel this way as we speak.  I am being worked on.  Maybe God knows I have a very soft heart at this time and He wants to take advantage of it.  And I say, "Go ahead God... Work on me.  I need it."

I will be doing a devotional for our monthly ladies Bible study.  And I am extra open to God's working on my life right now.  I am hoping that something God is doing in me will help some of the ladies of our Church.

Couponing. :)

Here is my latest couponing trip. :)  With a free yummy FREE treat at the end. :)

 So here is what I got:  First I started with the peach rings.  The CVS coupon machine wasn't working and I wanted to see what good coupons I could get. So I bought those for $.88.  I got my Extra Bucks from the Summer quarter and some other coupons.  Then I go the Cheerios: $2.88 on sale and had a $.50 off. The Skintimate was $3.79 with $2 EB. The Centrum chewables were b1g1 50% off. I had two $3 off coupons and then a $3 off CVS coupon.  The Dentex was $2.99 with $2 EB.  I also got a $4 off $20 purchase when I bought the Peach Rings and the $.50 EB from the Summer.

So, this is how I did it and how much I spent.  
1. Peach Rings- $.88
2. Dentex, Centrum, and Skintimate-  Total $25.46 + .99 tax 
I used the $4 off $20 and the $.50 EBs with the coupons listed above.  I spent 6.76 + .99 tax. I got $4 in EBs back. 
3. I got the box of Cheerios- $2.88 then used the $.50 coupon and $2 in EBs.  I spent $.38.  :)

The best part... I have $2 in EBs for next time. :) 
I saved a total of $23.22

After I saved so much money I went to U-Swirl and saved some more.  I got a free 16oz yogurt for filling my punch card.  :)  I saved $7 and got a nice little treat.  They have a new flavor right now: Pumpkin!  Tastes just like a pumpkin pie. 

Pumpkin Patch!

Today we got to go to the pumpkin patch in town.  It is called Andelin Family Farms. We have gone there for the past 3 years and they are amazing.  We always have a ton of fun and every year they come up with new things to do.  I love how family and kid friendly they are.  Here are a few photos from the day. :)

pregnancy and infant loss awareness day

Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. 

Please pray for the ladies you know that have suffered this loss.  Even if it was at an early stage in the pregnancy, it is devastating to a woman and a lot of the time we grieve in private afraid to offend someone or make people feel awkward.  Please let that person in your life know that you love them and will talk with them when they are having a hard time.  We all have our up days and our down days.  It is hard when we feel judged for having a down day and that no one is with us.  To us, even being able to express that we are having a hard day is a relief.  

Every life is beautiful.
